Library Challenge - young persons research initiative!

Are you interested in helping out your local community grow? Do you feel commited enough to join the Change revolution?

Firstbaze PIE initiative is inviting interested pupils, students and young persons to get ready for our next coming Challenge!

Eligibility: You must be resident in the African sub-region to participate in this challenge.

 

All you need to do is to:

Send us information about a public or local community LIBRARY near you. 

The following would be required -

  • a picture of the library (with permission of the librarian)
  • The location of the Library
  • The sitting capacity of the library
  • Other details - date founded, information about how you got to know about the library, and what items are kept in the library.
  • Is there anything else unique about this library?

Every submission would be eligible to enter into our Firstbaze Challenge prize draw.

       Email your submissions either to library-challenge@firstbaze.com OR

       by uploading your text and image file via firstbaze facebook page message page.

 

NOTE: ONLY community libraries such as local councils or private charities are eligible to be sumbitted. School or College libraries are not included in this phase of the challenge.

Prizes to be won include:

  • Firstbaze T-shirt and Face cap
  •  Hand held mobile device
  • Prize money
  • Trip to a media event in your region
