Young Persons Challenge

Our young persons challenge programme is a series of activities designed to begin and progress through stages from preliminaries to semi and finals. It is aimed at individuals in junior, middle or high school such as Universities or Colleges. Participants enters the challenge under given categories. This programme has been developed to prepare budding writers, academics or scientists for industry.

It is anticipated that winners of Firstbaze Young Persons Challenge Awards may receive prizes ranging from funding for a specific programme, educational trips to destinations, bursary award for a school year or a other rewards. Winners of our competition eligible for employment might choose to sign up as freelance writers and earn income writing articles for Firstbaze or indeed other media. Winners in our technology category would also be eligible for support/sponsorship re proof of concept to point of production if feasible. Young Challenge Awards would be announced prior to each stage of a competition and would be subject to organizers choice based on entrants, sponsorships and other prevailing factors factors.

Firstbaze shall reward winning participants and talents for brilliance. This is one of our core missions

Initial entry stage requires participants to register including payment of a token registration fee by each individuals or in some cases schools e.g in inter school quiz or debates. Details of this process shall be published in our Firstbaze Youth Challenge Competition Guidance.

Schools in communities, from districts, to local authority areas and finally state level shall be invited to identify participants who may represent each school or district. Winners are duly rewarded as shall be determined by a panel of experts and observers

• General Studies and Maths 'GSM' challenge
• Interschool Debates
• Software/Hardward prototype design - proof of originality and concept.
