A snick preview on our new authors book
Married, separated, or divorced; each situation has an impact on the development of every child in that relationship. Living with parents in conflict is usually traumatic for children. The fact is, children and all are usually the victims in such circumstances. While some of the victims (children) may survive the tough challenges of their parents' separation; others may not.
This book details the challenges faced, from the age of eleven, by Maybell and her siblings after the violent separation of their parents and were forced to live with their father.
It is very rare for a child not to experience some stress or loss during childhood but when the pain is coupled with loneliness, rejection, hunger, punishments, near-death experience, etc., it can have long-lasting effects.
Believe it or not, parents' separation is usually like an emotional earthquake for a child.
